Welcome to
Divinely Disabled
As a young professional living and working in Washington, DC, I was deeply moved by the power of the disability rights movement. But as a person of faith, I witnessed a stark contrast within the church – a disconnect between advocacy and the often pity-based approach to disability. This ignited a passion within me to bridge that gap. As a disability advocate, writer, and follower of Jesus, Divinely Disabled is my personal response.
I aim to build a community where people with disabilities and their families feel empowered, understood, and embraced within their faith. I also seek to create a safe space where church leaders and others in the faith community can ask questions, learn, and grow in their understanding of disability. My commitment is to shift the conversation from pity to purpose and create a space where everyone discovers their unique value in God's eyes.
I’d love to come alongside you.

Whether you're living with a disability, caring for a loved one, or serving in a faith community, your insights are invaluable.
Disability touches countless lives. Globally, over 1 billion people, representing more than 15% of the world's population, live with a disability. In the United States alone, that's over 70 million individuals—1 in 4 people—facing unique challenges. These challenges can contribute to higher rates of mental health distress, making spaces of hope and healing even more crucial.
Your responses will help me provide a broader picture of the experiences, interests, and needs of individuals with disabilities, their supporters, and church leaders. This information will also inform my website content and resources.
